When to consult the emergency service of your insurer?

  • Pain that does not improve with the medications ordered by the surgeon.

  • In case of fever. 

  • If the wound begins to secrete purulent material (matter).

  • Heavy bleeding that doesn't stop. 

  • Permanent dizziness. 

  • Difficulty breathing or choking sensation that improves with changing position. 

  • Difficulty urinating or having a bowel movement. 

  • Headache that doesn't get better. 

  • Numbness in extremities that does not improve with time.
