This is the most frequent cancer within women worldwide. “Between January 2, 2019 and January 1, 2020, 7,047 new cases of breast cancer were reported, a total of 74,863 prevalent cases and 3,056 people died,” expresses the world authority.

The World Health Organization (WHO) proposes to the world “to reduce global cancer mortality by 2.5% per year, thereby averting 2.5 million premature deaths from breast cancer between 2020 and 2040 in women under 70 years of age”.
It should be noted that all women are at risk, not just those with a genetic history of the disease. All women should perform monthly self-examinations, screenings and more specialized analyses according to their age.
